Monday:

1.     Devotional Time

·      Show, Discuss, and Post “Aa”

·      Talk about what the Atonement is

·      Scriptures (Repeat after Mom):

o   John 3:16

o   Ether 3:14

2.     Alphabet

·      Go through Alphabet flashcards

·      Read books about Alphabet

o   ABC

o   Alligator, Bear, Crab

o   An Alphabet Silhouette

·      Write Letters in Wipe-Clean ABC Book

·      Discussion- What letter does your name start with?

·      Write Name on Week 1 (Prep with Dotted lines)

·      Discuss and look at the letter Aa (Worksheet)

3.     Color

·      Go through Color flashcards

·      Read books about Colors

o   Look up Color books

·      Free color time

o   Trace hand on separate sheet

o   Cut hand shape out

o   Write Name and age

·      Discuss- What’s your favorite color? Why?

o   Color hand cut-out favorite color

·      Introduce the color Red (Worksheet)

·      Discuss- What are some things that are Red? What do you like about Red? What’s your favorite Red object?

4.     Exercise

·      Talk about words that start with A-

o   A is for Animals- Act like animals

o   A is for Airplanes- Act like airplanes

5.     Math- Shapes

·      Go through Shapes flashcards

·      Read books about Shapes

o   Dear Dragons Fun with Shapes, Team Numbers

·      Introduce circles (Worksheet)

·      Discuss- What are some circles that you can think of?

·      Activity- Search for Circles around the house/outside
